DONATIONS & DISCLOSURES
Impact displayed in Stashrun (including dollar amounts, items funded, or other stated outcomes) is fully funded by a third-party campaign sponsor. A campaign sponsor may be a brand sponsor, a fundraising intermediary, a private individual donor, or a nonprofit organisation.
Sponsors pledge funds in advance, and those funds are released (“unlocked”) when users complete the designated in-app action, such as completing a gamified engagement. When an action is completed, a confirmation number is shown in-app to indicate that the corresponding impact has been unlocked. Platform users do not pay any money as part of unlocking the impact.

Because funding is provided by the campaign sponsor and not by users, users are not making a charitable contribution and will not receive a tax receipt.

Stashrun does not deduct fees from the displayed donation or impact amount. After Stashrun transfers the funds, the receiving nonprofit organisation — or any fiscal intermediary it designates — may apply its own fees or allocations in accordance with its policies.
Funds committed by the campaign sponsor for a given campaign will be disbursed to the designated charitable beneficiary, or to its authorised fiscal agent, within 90 days of campaign completion. If a campaign does not complete within the designated timeframe, Stashrun may, with the charity’s approval, extend the campaign period. If an extension is not approved, any accumulated sponsor-funded amounts will be disbursed within the original timeframe.
